Kado Terbaik
Kado Terbaik tells the story of Rizki, a young man whose father dies and whose mother abandons him and his two younger sisters in an illegal orphanage. Instead of receiving care and education, the children are exploited and forced to earn money on the streets. After growing up, Rizki escapes and vows to rescue his sisters. Seven days before Eid al-Fitr, he returns to fulfill a promise after his youngest sister asks for a holiday gift. With no job or money, Rizki faces difficult moral choices while trying to protect his sisters from threats including human trafficking, child exploitation, illegal drugs, and organ trafficking. The novel highlights poverty, resilience, family love, and social injustice.
